Just in case life in Gaza wasn’t hard enough to begin with: the British government has banned a Palestinian under-19 soccer team from entering the country to participate in a three week tour. Every member of the Gaza-based team had their visa applications rejected, a decision reportedly taken at “the highest level of the British government”. It looks like Brownie and friends have little else to do but further erode their country’s credibility as middle east peacemaker—not that the UK had a shred of said credibility left to begin with.
